Hello Readers!
You still have time to enter the AttuneFoods Giveaway! I will pick a winner on Wednesday!
Saturday’s Breakfast was so good that it deserves its own post!!
So here is what I had and YOU NEED to make this breakfast ASAP.
Ingredients:
1 scoop Vanilla protein powder (I used UMP)
1 egg
1 egg white
1 tsp baking powder
1 stevia packet
water
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Slowly add in water and mix until it forms a batter.
Make sure you spray your waffle maker with non stick spray (I forgot to spray the top)
Pour batter into waffle maker.
This is what happened to mine :/
But it still turned out A-OKAY!
For the Syrup you will need:
1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder
water
1 1/2 tbsp sugar-free maple syrup
1 tbsp Nikki’s honey pecan pie coconut butter
Directions:
Mix protein powder with water until a smooth thin consistency forms.
Microwave coconut butter for 30 seconds.
Mix coconut butter with protein powder mixture
Add the maple syrup to mixture.
Add extra water if needed.
Pour over waffle!
Enjoy!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

What a great way to make waffles more protein-based! I especially like the syrup idea. Yum.

How many eggbeaters is one egg white? I get conflicting answers on google (either 2 or 3 tbsps??). Also, would that work in the microwave as a muffin? How many grams is in one scoop of that protein? And is it like 4 tbsps of powder? thanks.
Fitcupcaker
3 tbsp! It might work in the microwave but I have never tried it. It would prob take about 5 minutes but I dont know if it would be the same consistency. I could try it sometime and I will post it if I do
1 scoop of protein powder = approx 4 tbsp!

I love that you have so many of your own creative recipes. I hope one day to have more time to make up my own stuff! What protein powder do you typically use?
Fitcupcaker
I use different kinds. Designer whey and UMP by beverlyinternational are my top 2 right now.
