Yesterday was the first day of my 4 day weekend and I was pumped because I needed a day off and because I had lots of running around to do!
I started my morning off with some OJ, vitamins, and coupon cutting!
I also had some protein pancakes which held me over until after crossfit. I decided I would go to crossfit first, and then do a little Christmas shopping.
My friend from the box, Laura, decided she would do the WOD with me…. It ran got my heart rate up and I was super red faced after! Who came up with this dumb wod anyway!?? I figured I needed a good workout since I took Tuesday and Wednesday as rest days.
I was glad to have someone to wod with! It’s not really fun doing it alone. We had some good jams going too (wrecking ball, royals, etc)
Make sure you pin this so you can come back to it when you need a good workout! The 400 Meter row was supposed to be a run, but it was raining outside so if you don’t have a rower at your gym feel free to run it out!
After my workout I did a little shopping but I didn’t really get much accomplished. I did find a million things I wanted for Christmas so I made sure to text pictures to my husband and in-laws! Does anyone else do this or just me?
Of course everything I liked was workout clothes!!
When Alec got home from school we went and got Starbucks, since our Christmas jar told us to! We are celebrating #24daysoftogetherness and yesterday we picked “enjoy a holiday beverage from Starbucks”.
We had a good time shopping around at Kroger looking at all the food and samples too. After our hour long trip that should have taken 15 minutes we headed home and I got to work on a project.
I’ve been planning what I should do for my dad since he turns 60 this month! For Father’s day this year Alec and I made Eric a candy birthday card the size of a poster! I decided I would do this again for my dad! So I worked on his card a little while before making dinner.
I am such a little kid at heart!
I made Quiche with leftover turkey (which is finally gone!) In the mix: orange peppers, broccoli, pesto, and feta cheese. I can’t wait to have leftovers for breakfast!
To conclude the night we finally decorated our Christmas tree!
Jackson was a little confused since this is the first time he has been around a huge tree in the house.
And the final product!
