Scenes From The Weekend & Treat Yourself Tuesday

Good Morning!

I hope your week is off to a pretty good start, but I need to add if I could stop spending money that would be great!  I thought I would link up with my friend Becky today in “Treat Yourself Tuesday” so I could share what I’ve been treating myself too, plus tell you about my weekend all in one!

So here goes…

I took my friend to Findlay Market in Cincinnati for lunch for her birthday, but first I started my morning with a Latte, and a little snack.   Treat #1

I got my first Klutch Club Box in the mail, and this little Raw Rev bar was staring at me all weekend. I was dying to try it!  I loved it!

I will share my review on this amazing box soon, so be looking out for it!

Treat #2– Lunch at Pho Lang Thang

Stephanie and I split the spring rolls, and then we each had the Pho Ga (chicken soup).  They were both so tasty.

Stephanie also got a coffee which was so incredibly sweet it was a little bit hard to drink.  The coffee dripped from the top and when  it was completely done you mixed it with the sweet and condensed milk.  It was very different.

I also wore my new scarf with purse that I recently got!  Treat #3

 Is it Spring yet?

We went to a friend’s house in the afternoon, and then another friend’s house in the evening to celebrate her birthday where we had amazing pizza and cupcakes!  I ran all day long!

I started my morning off with “Frantastic”  which was not fantastic at all!  I would NOT call this a treat.  It was a treat say that I finished it though I guess.

This WOD was Fran on steroids and it was absolutely the worst thing I have ever done!

I also did a little more shopping (I had a problem this weekend!) and bought this clock!  I’m in love.  I want to redo my whole house after visiting Kirklands!  Treat #4

And I found these cute little pieces for my kitchen at Michaels.  I need to get some chalk to write on this.  I also want to go back and buy like 5 more little jars!  Treat #5

Dinner Sunday was taco salad!  I made homemade tortilla strips for crunch using a flatout wrap.  I just popped it in the oven at 400 Degrees for about 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.

Well there you have it!  I did lots of treating this weekend!  I bought myself a few things, celebrated birthdays with good friends, and found some cute things for my mom’s birthday (which I cannot share because she may be reading!) which is this Saturday!

What kind of treating did you do this weekend?

I’m moving this weekend! Well, painting needs to happen first then moving in! I’ve been buying pieces here and there, but really need two more things: a lamp and a drawer for the living room. And a dog house… almost forgot!

I really want to buy accessories, but I’ll have to do that slowly as I find pieces and have money for them!

I can’t blame you for those Michael’s purchases – they’re totally cute! I can’t wait til we go back to Louisiana in the summertime because it means I get to shop up a storm 😛

This weekend I treated myself by having a lazy weekend in (except for Church on Sunday morning and evening) baking with my hubby! Jesse has just started wanting to help me cook and it’s so much fun!

I cannot wait to hear what you though of the Raw Revolution Bar! I saw them in the store this weekend and was very intrigued!
