Invicta Speedway 9211

Invicta Speedway 9211

Invicta has been producing really interesting watches with features which appeals to anyone with small budget. Among the most popular Invicta watches, and most attractive designed ones, is the Invicta Speedway 9211. This review will focus on the features of this classy looking silver-tone watch, so bear with me.

9211’s Design

Every watch connoisseur knows very that Invicta copies, or make homages if you want, of major luxurious watches. This one is undoubtly the copie of the “Rolex Daytona” so it’s not only a matter of resemblance. The only thing I noticed in term of design difference is the sunburst which is on the the Invicta Speedway’s dial.

The case looks elegant and feels solid, not suprising as its a premium design…The case measures 40mm in diamter, not including the crown. It’s made of stainless steel. Like almost all Invicta watches, on the case back you find engraved the model’s name “INVICTA 9211” with of course the logo centered as well as infos about material and water resistance rate.
The bezel is a uniderectional one like on the Pro Diver and which you can make use of to count elapsed time. Unlike the familiar look of Invicta timepieces, the typefont used in numeral on the bezel are tiny and exceeds the 45 and 55 indicators. This adds a feel of precision to the overall look.

The Bracelet

The band of the Speedway is also made of the same stainless steel with silver-tone which matches very well the case and bezel and strenghthen the professional feel of the watch. Invicta has made a nice combination of brushed and polished stainless steel in this bracelet. It also has a double locking diver buckle and is adjustable.

Speedway’s Functionalities

This is the ground on which Invicta is famous when it comes to small budget watches. This watch has three subdials designed to count elapsed time with intervals of 1/60 of a second and up to 30 minutes. The subdial positioned at 6 o’clock is just like another second hand, the dial at 9 o’clock can be used to determine the amount of elapsed minutes and the subdial at 3 o’clock looks like a date window, which is what I thought at the first sight, displays the hour in standard mode which distinguishes AM from PM.

For anyone seeking a watch that has an elegant look, the 9211 is definitly a good one. The quality and features are not strong point of this watch, but the price on the other hand is not high either which makes it an attractive piece of fashion.
